It was a joint effort by Marengo CIMS Hospital with Codezeros Technologies Pvt Ltd., & State Bank of India to train working professionals on how to react in life-saving situations and give hands-on training on CPR and BLS.
The first session was at Codezeros Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where more than 70 enthusiastic employees were present, while the second session was organized in the State Bank of India Learning and Development Center, Gandhinagar, with active participation from more than 60 newly joined associates. Both programs were conducted by Dr. Harshil Mehta Zonal Head ER Department at Marengo CIMS Hospital , who structured an interactive, hands-on workshop that provided participants with much-needed knowledge and confidence to respond proficiently during medical emergencies.
Sessions focused on basic CPR, chain of survival, identification of cardiac arrest, and immediate life-saving interventions that can make a difference before professional medical help can arrive. Through practical demonstrations and guided simulations, participants learn how to manage critical situations such as choking, unresponsiveness, and sudden cardiac arrest with calmness and precision.
The community-based emergency preparedness has been a persisting emphasis of Marengo CIMS Hospital, which intends that each citizen be prepared with basic life-saving skills. In this regard, outreach to corporate organizations and institutions is part of its strategy to create an informed and capable first responder network in society.
These training programs are representative of continuous efforts in public health education and preventive healthcare. Informed by the valuable guidance of experienced professionals such as Dr. Harshil Mehta, such sessions enhance on-site safety and increase responsibility and preparedness among employees to take immediate action when required. The hospital will keep organizing similar sessions in various organizations to ensure a culture is built wherein awareness and timely action can save thousands of lives.
